Punjab Ends Waterfowl Hunting Season
The waterfowl hunting season in Punjab has officially concluded. The Wildlife Department imposed a province-wide ban on hunting activities due to the onset of the breeding period.
Earlier, officials had announced that hunting was permitted only on Saturdays and Sundays from October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
Authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found hunting ducks after the season’s end.
