She stated that if the government thinks like a mother, it can transform young people into its greatest strength. Additionally, she highlighted comprehensive measures being taken to make youth skilled and educated.
Under the Chief Minister Skill Development Program, 200,000 students have been trained with 1,000 trainees receiving employment in the garments sector. Youth have been trained in skills such as tile fixing, welding, and wiring.
Maryam Nawaz also mentioned that Pakistanis perform demanding jobs across Arab countries, showcasing the capabilities of Pakistani youth globally. She called for acquiring skills rather than idling at home to meet global demands.
Additionally, she announced that 50,000 skilled youth will receive Parwaz Cards, which will ensure transparency in financial assistance and offer interest-free loans up to Rs300,000.
Concluding her address, Maryam Nawaz urged Pakistan’s youth to choose laptops over petrol bombs. She emphasized unity for the country’s interests and stressed that betraying the nation is akin to disloyalty towards one’s mother.
