Drone Operations Ban Extended

The Punjab government has decided to extend the ban on drone operations across the province until April 25. The restriction is in place due to security concerns, according to the Punjab Home Department.

Small drones are permitted for use indoors at events like weddings and functions held in halls or marquees. Event organizers must ensure safe and controlled usage of these devices.

Law enforcement and intelligence agencies remain exempt from the restrictions. District administrations and police have been instructed to enforce strict compliance with the ban until April 25, emphasizing the government’s commitment to maintaining peace, protecting citizens, and safeguarding property.
