Punjab Governor Condemns Tragic Attack, Urges National Unity Against Terrorism

In a statement following the recent tragic suicide attack in Islamabad’s Tarlai suburb, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the families of those affected. His visit to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Polyclinic Hospital was not only an opportunity to learn about the health conditions of the injured but also a moment for emotional support.

During his visit, the governor prayed fervently for their swift recovery. “We stand together in grief,” he said. “The nation mourns alongside the families of the martyrs.” He emphasized that terrorism has no religion and targeting innocent worshippers is an attack against humanity itself, highlighting the brutality and depravity of such acts.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan’s condemnation was unequivocal, asserting Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to combating this menace. “As a nation, we continue to battle terrorism with the relentless efforts of our brave armed forces and security agencies,” he declared.
