Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari stated that Punjab’s pavilion for the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” housing project in Baku has attracted global attention from international visitors and foreign guests.

The minister added that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will showcase this landmark housing initiative today as part of the province’s international outreach efforts.

Bokhari described the program as one of the largest and most unique housing initiatives globally, with 100,000 houses already completed and construction on 60,000 more progressing rapidly.

She further stated that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz aims to provide homes for 500,000 families within five years, highlighting that development work in Punjab is now being recognized internationally rather than remaining confined to paperwork.

Bokhari remarked that when projects are delivered on the ground, they are acknowledged globally, and those who cannot match Maryam Nawaz’s performance are instead affected by criticism directed at her leadership.
