
LAHORE: The Punjab government has officially launched AI education in all government schools across the province. According to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, AI education will be provided to every child without any discrimination. She emphasized that equal access to advanced digital skills is essential to prepare students for the future.
Maryam Nawaz further stated that teachers have been deployed in every government school to provide AI training. She added that around 1,000 teachers in Punjab have already completed training as AI master trainers to ensure effective implementation of the program.
The Chief Minister also announced that AI will be formally incorporated into the educational curriculum within the next sixty days, marking a significant step toward modernizing the province’s education system. The initiative is seen as a move to align Punjab’s education sector with global technological trends and future workforce demands.
