Rainfall on Monday Night Disrupts Electricity in Lahore

Light rainfall accompanied strong winds swept through Lahore and its surrounding areas on Monday. The weather was reported as pleasant by residents, according to local news outlets.

The heavy downpour also led to power outages across parts of the city, with several feeders from the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) tripping. This resulted in multiple neighborhoods being plunged into darkness.

According to reports, rain affected various areas including Defence, Ghazi Road, Ferozepur Road, Walton, Mall Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Gulshan Ravi, Jail Road, Gulberg, Garden Town, Kalma Chowk, and Sanda.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that the rain will persist into today’s weather conditions.
