A video featuring former Pakistani film and television actor Reema Khan singing amid snowfall has gone viral on social media. At a time when large parts of the United States were grappling with a deadly winter storm, Khan’s clip, shared by herself on Instagram, garnered widespread attention from fans and critics alike.

The short clip shows Khan in warm clothing, accompanied by her husband and friends at a snowy location. In her caption, she wrote, “Snow covers the world in white, as if giving life a clean page again.” She added, “Snow much fun. License to chill. Freeze the moment,” reflecting a light-hearted tone.

However, not everyone was pleased with the video’s release. After gaining online traction, several social media users criticized Khan’s style and questioned the appropriateness of sharing such content during severe winter conditions.

Some expressed surprise upon first viewing, mistaking it for actress Meera. Another user addressed Khan directly, advising her to avoid posting videos like this amid extreme weather conditions. The mixed reaction underscores a broader sentiment that attention should be focused on helping those in need rather than engaging in leisure activities during such harsh weather.

The storm continued to batter the United States, with at least 23 people having died due to cold weather. Power supplies were disrupted and transport networks paralyzed across states from New Mexico to Maine. A dangerous Arctic air mass had settled over much of the country, with temperatures expected to remain below freezing until February 1, according to forecasts by the National Weather Service.
