Authorities in Tank have imposed Section 144 on Sunday due to heightened security concerns. The decision was made based on recommendations from security agencies amid potential threats, aiming to prevent any untoward incidents.

Deputy Commissioner Tanveer Khan announced that the restrictions will be in place from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on April 12. All major routes leading to Kaur Fort, Khargi Jandola, Gardawi, Nili Kach, and Gomal Zam Dam will remain closed.

Law enforcement agencies and emergency services are exempted from the restrictions. Citizens must obtain permission for extreme necessity and carry identification documents at all times.
