Shay Mitchell, the 39-year-old Canadian actress and entrepreneur, has shared her summer plans with PEOPLE magazine. She revealed she is avoiding the beach this year due to the shooting of the Baywatch reboot.
At the Fox Upfront in New York City on May 11, Mitchell told PEOPLE that her summer plans are likely to be traveling with her family. They plan to shoot a lot in L.A., which Mitchell feels fortunate about.
Mitchell explained that she will probably just get on a plane and travel somewhere without a beach. Her Baywatch role as Trina, a lawyer turned lifeguard, will also impact her travel plans, she joked, “I’ll still have the wrinkles from the water.”
The Pretty Little Liars star is set to play Trina in the Baywatch reboot, which will premiere on Fox in late January 2027 and be available on Hulu the next day.
