Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Antalya, Türkiye on an important official visit following his trip to Qatar. The prime minister is scheduled to participate in the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, representing Pakistan’s perspective at the “Leaders Panel”. He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other global leaders during the forum.
The visit comes amid intensified diplomatic efforts by Pakistan to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States. A second round of talks is likely to take place in Islamabad next week. In recent days, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir visited Iran, while Prime Minister Sharif completed visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar before arriving in Türkiye.
