Shehbaz Sharif Resigns as PML-N President

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reportedly resigned from his position as the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

According to media sources, he tendered his resignation to party leader Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Reports indicate that the PML-N Central Council will convene on May 28 to elect former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif as the party’s new president.

Additionally, an executive committee meeting has been summoned in accordance with Article 15 of the party’s constitution.
