
Sindh Assembly Passes Multiple Bills in Key Session
Deputy Speaker Anthony Naveed chaired a crucial session of the Sindh Assembly. During this meeting, several significant bills were passed.
Sindh Law Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar introduced an amendment to the Sindh Blood Transfusion Act. This bill was approved by the house.
The assembly also passed legislation for Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre and National Institute of Child Health. These institutions will be under provincial government control.
A resolution declaring Karachi integral part of Sindh province was unanimously approved.
Lawmakers also approved a bill to regulate private security companies, guards, and training institutes in Sindh.
Additionally, a medical and dental education bill was passed. This paved the way for the establishment of the Sindh Medical and Dental Education Council.
The session saw unanimous approval of the Sindh Workers Welfare Fund Bill. This aims to strengthen welfare measures for workers across the province.
