Under the new rates, semi-skilled workers will earn Rs38,280 per month, skilled workers will receive Rs45,910, and highly skilled workers will be paid Rs47,868.

This wage increase follows the Sindh cabinet’s approval last week of a higher minimum wage for unskilled laborers, setting the rate at Rs37,000 per month in August. The government’s decision aims to enhance the livelihoods of workers in the province’s industrial sector.
