The Sindh government has launched a scholarship program benefiting thousands of students from minority communities, according to the provincial minority affairs department.
To qualify, applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in their previous year’s exams and be permanent residents of Sindh. The scholarships are exclusively available to students whose parents earn Rs 35,000 or less per month, with each recipient receiving Rs 25,000 in financial aid.
In a separate initiative, the Sindh government introduced a job portal last week to enhance employment opportunities. The platform will feature job listings from both government and private sector organizations, offering a streamlined process for job seekers.
