The Sindh government has declared a holiday in Karachi on Saturday to commemorate the annual Urs of Sufi saint Hazrat Syed Abdullah Shah Ghazi.
Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced that all offices within Karachi’s municipal limits will remain closed, except those providing essential services.
The Urs, currently in its second day, will continue until June 29, drawing pilgrims from across the country under tight security arrangements.
