Sindh Government Signs Agreement for Electric Vehicle Taxi Project

The Sindh government has taken a significant step towards promoting modern transport and technology by signing an agreement for the Electric Vehicle (EV) taxi project. Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon signed the deal with Sindh Bank, Sindh Development Fund (SDF), and the Sindh Mass Transit Authority.

Under the terms of the agreement, an EV taxi service will be introduced in Sindh. This initiative is expected to enhance urban transportation while also creating new job opportunities for young people across the province.

During the signing ceremony, Minister Memon emphasized that the government’s commitment to providing employment opportunities to the youth of Sindh remains a top priority. He also highlighted other transport initiatives in Sindh, such as the Pink Bus Service for women and the introduction of EV buses, which have garnered international attention.
