
Heavy rains hit various parts of Pakistan, causing significant damage and injuries.
In Bannu, KP, a house’s roof collapsed during heavy rainfall, resulting in three children’s deaths and two others injured. The victims were from Sher Muhammad’s family, with both daughters and one son succumbing to the incident while their two surviving sons were rescued.
Rainfall was also reported across Punjab cities such as Lahore, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Yazman, Cholistan, Rawalpindi, and other areas. Islamabad experienced showers too.
The Meteorological Department predicted intermittent rain in Lahore until March 31, with moderate to heavy rainfall causing flooding and power outages. The Met Office expects more rain in the city and its outskirts. Rainfall is also expected in Karachi and several Balochistan cities including Quetta.
