Three notorious dacoits, wanted for over 40 serious crimes, have surrendered to Khairpur police on Tuesday, marking an important development in Sindh’s ongoing crackdown against criminal elements through Operation Nijat-e-Mehran.

This surrender follows a series of effective strategies implemented by DIG Larkana/Sukkur, Nasir Aftab, and led by SSP Khairpur, Dr. Samiullah Soomro. The three dacoits—Ghazi Khan Mari, Yasin Ahmad Narijo, Chief Yasin Ahmad Nareho, and Hanif alias Hanfo Gopang—are sought for multiple offenses including dacoity, murder, and extortion.

Upon their surrender, the dacoits expressed remorse for their heinous crimes. They appealed to accomplices to follow suit in seeking justice and reforming. SSP Soomro announced that the operation would continue until all remaining dacoits are eliminated, ensuring peace returns to the area.

Khairpur police emphasize their commitment to protecting citizens’ lives and property, upholding law, and order in the region. The successful operation underscores the dedication of the Khairpur police force as they work tirelessly to maintain stability and safety for local residents.
