In Karachi’s Akhtar Colony, a three-year-old girl named Shiza tragically died after allegedly receiving a wrong injection, her family claims.
Shiza, who was the youngest of four siblings, was initially taken to a local doctor with a high fever. After the injection, her family noticed a wound developing on her leg.
The family returned to the doctor, who reportedly applied a bandage and sent them home. However, Shiza’s condition worsened, and she was rushed to Jinnah Hospital the following day, where she passed away.
In response, the police have initiated an investigation into the case and reportedly filed a complaint against the doctor involved.
