Todrick Hall Discloses Favorite Taylor Swift Track
Singer Todrick Hall revealed his favorite Taylor Swift track during an interview with People magazine at Cats: The Jellicle Ball opening night on Broadway in NYC.
Asked about his preferred Taylor’s song, he responded, “One of my favorite songs is ‘Style.’ Something about that guitar lick at the beginning of ‘Style’ instantly takes me back to that place.”
He further expressed his admiration for the song, stating, “I love that song. I think it’s so well written and imaginative. And I appreciate how Taylor tells stories through her music and lyrics,” he added.
Todrick previously collaborated with Swift on several music videos during her Reputation and Lover eras.
The track ‘Style’ was released by Taylor in 2014, years before Todrick started working with her on music videos.
He appeared as a backup dancer in the 2017 Look What You Made Me Do video and co-executive produced the 2019 You Need to Calm Down MV.
Swift praised Todrick for his generosity during the creation of the You Need to Calm Down video, saying, “My friend Todrick is one of those people who is very generous with his effort and time, he would never ask for credit when he deserves it.”
