
A Woman Dies After Severe Burns in Lahore House Fire
In a tragic incident that occurred in Lahore, Pakistan, a 45-year-old woman named Safia Bibi lost her life due to severe burns sustained during a house fire. The blaze broke out inside a room containing a petrol can located near Lohari Gate and Sutar Mandi Chowk.
Rescue sources reported the incident occurred when the fire ignited the contents of the petrol can, causing extensive damage to the surrounding area. The woman was found severely burned within the burning premises upon arrival of emergency services. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene before being transferred to Mayo Hospital for further treatment.
Officials from the rescue units informed that Safia Bibi’s remains will be handed over to her family after all necessary legal formalities are completed.
