Five people suffered burn injuries when a fire broke out following an explosion at a house in Islamabad’s Sector I-10.
At least two people were killed, and three others injured after a gas cylinder exploded inside the home.
Rescue officials stated that all injured individuals were taken to hospital, where two later died during treatment.
The authorities said the cylinder exploded due to a gas leakage in the kitchen located on the first floor of the house. Fire brigade teams managed to bring the blaze under control.
