Two Real Brothers Fatally Injured in Karachi Motorcycle Crash

ISLAMABAD: Two real brothers lost their lives when a motorcycle they were riding on collided with a speeding trailer in Karimabad area near Karachi’s Furniture Market, late Tuesday night.

The tragic incident unfolded at a time when traffic was heavy and vehicles were navigating through narrow roads. The trailer driver is believed to have been reckless, speeding aggressively under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as police investigations are ongoing.

News reports indicate that the motorcycle hit by the trailer belonged to Tabish, who served in the army, and his younger brother Atif, a school student. Atif managed to escape with minor injuries, while Tabish perished on impact.

Eyewitnesses provided details of how the trailer rushed from one intersection to another at an alarming speed, completely disregarding traffic signals and pedestrian safety. The accident left the street awash in blood, shocking residents who lined up outside the hospital for updates.

Emergency services raced against time to reach the scene, with ambulances struggling through congested lanes. Paramedics worked tirelessly on Tabish, but despite their best efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival at the hospital. Atif’s wounds were life-threatening and required immediate surgical intervention before being transferred to a specialist unit.

As news of the brothers’ fates spread, locals in Karachi voiced deep sorrow and frustration over traffic laws that seem impotent against such reckless behavior. The community called for stricter enforcement measures and road safety education programs in light of this incident.

Police officers from various stations have been deployed near Karimabad to conduct thorough inquiries and ensure no traces of criminal negligence are left uninvestigated. Family members gathered at the hospital, their faces etched with grief as they waited for news on their loved ones’ condition.
