Tyson Fury, the heavyweight boxer, has spoken about a personal loss that occurred just days before his highly anticipated fight against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia. In an episode of At Home With the Furys, Fury revealed how he sensed something was wrong with his wife, Paris, who had suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.
Paris chose not to attend training camp ahead of the fight, which raised concerns for Fury. He later learned that she had gone alone to a routine scan and was told there was no heartbeat. Fury expressed regret over not being present for his wife during this difficult time.
The loss came just one day before Fury lost his WBC heavyweight title to Usyk in May 2024. Both Fury and Paris have experienced miscarriages previously, including in 2014 and 2018.
