In a statement posted on Truth Social, he mentioned his intention to disclose during an upcoming meeting in Washington on February 19th. According to the president, these countries had also committed over 3,000 personnel specifically for the International Stabilisation Force and local police units. Their roles would be to enhance security and promote peace in Gaza.
Trump highlighted that this pledge was part of a broader commitment aimed at supporting Gazans who have been grappling with significant humanitarian crises and ongoing conflicts. The president stressed the importance of these reinforcements, emphasizing their role in ensuring stability for the region.
More details were expected from the meeting, which would provide further insight into how the international community is responding to the complex situation in Gaza.
