Conducted from February to April 2026, thousands of final-year medical students across affiliated institutions participated in the examination. A total of 5,125 students appeared, with 4,657 passing and 454 failing. Fourteen results were under review or withheld for further evaluation.

Several colleges recorded high pass rates, exceeding 95 percent. Notably, Gujranwala Medical College achieved a remarkable 99.11 percent success rate, while Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur reported 97.42 percent.

Top Performers

Anna Mariyum from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College secured the top spot with 1,329 marks. Fatima Altaf of Abwa Medical College Faisalabad followed closely with 1,328 marks, just one point behind. Aaila Ibrar from Gujranwala Medical College took third place with 1,315 marks.

The narrow margin between the top candidates underscores the competitive nature of the examination and their exceptional academic achievement.

Performance varied across institutions but overall results reflect high success rates. Colleges like Multan Medical and Dental College and Shalamar Medical and Dental College reported pass percentages above 97 percent. Conversely, Nishtar Medical College Multan recorded a lower pass rate at 46.15 percent.

The university compiled and released the results within one day of completing practical examinations, an administrative achievement ensuring minimal delay for students awaiting confirmation of their academic status. Results are accessible online through UHS’s official website, aiding graduates in planning professional pathways including house jobs, postgraduate training, and specialization opportunities.
