US Officials Weigh Strike on Iran as Tensions Escalate, Bloomberg Reports

Senior US officials are preparing for the possibility of a military strike on Iran in the coming days, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with ongoing discussions.

While no final decision has been made, some officials indicated the timing could coincide with the upcoming weekend, though they also noted that the situation remains fluid and plans could shift.

Outside the White House on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump offered little clarity on whether the US would participate in Israel’s military efforts. “I may do it. I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do,” he told reporters.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and follow reports of increased Israeli military activity targeting senior Iranian figures.
