KARACHI: Onijah Andrew Robinson, the US woman making headlines in Pakistan after accusing a Karachi man of betrayal, was previously arrested in South Carolina in 2021, according to a US-based website that also shared her mugshot.

The 33-year-old American forcibly entered a residential building in Karachi’s Garden East on Wednesday and has since refused to leave, despite repeated requests from residents and police.

Online records indicate that Robinson was arrested in Charleston County in February 2021 for “entering premises after warning.” A bail bond was set at $465, but it remains unclear whether it was paid. The website providing this information does not confirm if the charges were proven.

Her criminal record appears on Mugshots Zone, an unofficial platform that tracks arrests across the US. The website states that its purpose is to ensure public access to arrest records for safety reasons.

Robinson, a New York resident, traveled to Karachi after falling in love with 19-year-old Nidal Memon through social media.
