Speaking to reporters at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is fully prepared for a protest demonstration in Islamabad scheduled for October 15. “We are coming to Islamabad tomorrow for which we are ready as always,” Gandapur stated.

The chief minister also expressed the party’s deep concerns regarding the health of its imprisoned founder, Imran Khan. “We are deeply concerned about Imran Khan’s health, and the government is forcing us to hold a protest demonstration in favor of our demands,” he added.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, also criticized the government, claiming it has denied PTI members permission to meet with Khan. “It is our constitutional and legal right to meet with Imran Khan, but the government has imposed unnecessary restrictions,” Ayub remarked.

He reiterated that PTI would proceed with the protest on October 15 in Islamabad if they are not granted access to Imran Khan.
