Social media platform X faced issues affecting thousands of US users on Wednesday. Downdetector.com reported over 14,000 problems with X as of 8:05pm PKT (11:05 am ET).
In Pakistan, 158 users also experienced difficulties with the social media platform at 8:21pm. Indian media noted that the outage impacted users in India.
The exact number of affected users may vary from Downdetector’s reports, which are based on user submissions.
X did not immediately comment to Reuters’ request for information.
This is not the first time X has experienced international outages; last month saw similar issues.
