Zong, Pakistan’s leading technology services enterprise, has launched the country’s first AI-powered Digital Intelligent Employee initiative under its broader Digital Intelligence framework, enabling enterprise automation and intelligent transformation. This initiative is designed to strengthen operational agility and accelerate decision-making through AI, automation, and data-driven technologies.

The Digital Intelligent Employee introduces AI-enabled virtual workforce entities capable of autonomously managing and executing complex business processes across the organization. Powered by advanced AI models, intelligent process automation, and integrated data intelligent platforms, these digital entities can understand operational context, make informed decisions and coordinate actions across multiple systems in real time enabling faster execution, enhanced operational accuracy, improved scalability and greater organizational agility.

Moving beyond conventional automation, the initiative marks the strategic shift toward intelligent enterprise operations, where AI-driven systems continuously learn, adapt, and optimize end-to-end workflows to create smarter, more agile and highly responsive business environments.

As part of the first phase of implementation, Zong has successfully transformed two major operational domains through the Digital Intelligent Employee framework: Inventory Management and Fuel Management Operations. The deployment has streamlined processes, improved operational visibility, and strengthened efficiency across critical enterprise functions.

Commenting on the development, Waqas Munim, Head of Digital Intelligence at Zong, said, Digital Intelligent Employee represents the next phase of enterprise evolution in the AI era. By embedding intelligence directly into operational workflows, we are enabling systems that can analyze, adapt, and execute autonomously with greater precision and speed. This transformation is not only enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making at scale, but also laying the foundation for more intelligent, agile, and resilient enterprises that can thrive in an increasingly digital future.

The initiative reflects Zong’s strategic focus on AI Enablement, intelligent automation, cloud intelligence, and data intelligence to modernize enterprise ecosystem and accelerate digital innovation across industries. As Pakistan’s digital landscape continues to evolve, Zong remains committed to building future-ready technological foundations that will support sustainable growth, intelligent transformation, and the country’s broader digital ambitions.
