Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has declared that Iran’s armed forces are more prepared than ever to respond to any future military threats. Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, an IRGC spokesman, cited existing capabilities and recent confrontations with adversaries as factors in the enhanced readiness.
Mohebbi warned that if aggression resumed, operations, geography of engagements, and even weapons would change. The IRGC is fully prepared for all scenarios, according to the official. He highlighted increased operational capabilities during the ceasefire period following President Donald Trump’s announcement on April 7.
The spokesman noted that recent confrontations provided more detailed knowledge about adversaries, moving beyond intelligence assessments to direct battlefield experience. Mohebbi rejected claims of weakened military power, insisting combat and naval capabilities remain intact.
He also emphasized Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz during recent hostilities, despite extensive US operations. The IRGC spokesman described the waterway as a symbol of the IRGC’s strength.
