10 US Service Members Injured in Iran Attack on Saudi Base

Ten U.S. service members sustained injuries in an attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, as confirmed by multiple U.S. officials to CBS News. The assault involved Iranian missiles and drones according to the sources consulted. Among those injured were two individuals who suffered very serious injuries, while eight others experienced severe injuries, a distinction within the military’s injury classification system.

The broader impact of this conflict has seen over 300 American service members wounded in action as part of the ongoing war with Iran, most of whom have since returned to active duty. A U.S. Central Command spokesperson reported that 13 service members have been killed in this period.
