1,000 Pakistani Students to Train in China, PM Announces

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Saturday that the Pakistani government will send 1,000 students to the Yangling Agricultural Demonstration Base in China for advanced agricultural training.

The government will cover the expenses for these students, with the Prime Minister instructing the Ambassador of Pakistan in China and other relevant officials to finalize this arrangement in consultation with Chinese authorities, according to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.

In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz extended an invitation to the North West Agriculture and Forestry University to establish a campus in Pakistan, assuring the university of full government support.

He directed the ambassador and relevant officials to finalize the mechanism for this initiative.

During his visit to the Yangling Agricultural Demonstration Base, PM Shehbaz toured its various sections and the Pakistani Pavilion, which showcases Pakistani products.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Attaullah Tarar, Dr. Musadik Malik, and Rana Tanveer Hussain.
