14 Children Killed in Lahore Tuition Centre Collapse

A tuition centre in Lahore’s Kahna area experienced a tragic collapse on Tuesday, resulting in at least 14 children losing their lives. The initial rescue teams estimated around eight to ten children were trapped, but later reports indicated that approximately 30 children were present when the incident occurred.

Rescue 1122 swiftly responded to the scene and managed to extract 15 children from the rubble, all of whom were transported to Lahore General Hospital for treatment. Four to five children were reported in critical condition following the collapse.

The affected room’s roof, constructed using T-iron girders, reportedly gave way without warning, leading to the devastating incident. Rescue teams continue their efforts to safely extract any remaining trapped individuals from the debris.
