ABAD Chairman Muhammad Hasan Bakshi emphasized that this initiative would set a new standard for construction projects, helping not only to tackle the energy crisis but also to combat climate change in Pakistan. He stated that the collaboration between ABAD and NEECA would encourage the widespread adoption of energy-efficient designs and technologies, improving the standards of builders, developers, and architects across Pakistan.

The meeting was attended by NEECA MD Sardar Muazzam, ABAD Senior Vice Chairman Syed Afzal Hameed, Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, and senior ABAD members Yunus Lakhani and Afaan Qureshi.

Bakshi further added that the implementation of the ECBC would stimulate investment in the construction sector, which plays a pivotal role in Pakistan’s economic development.
