AJK PM Fires Chaudhry Rashid Amid PML-N Meetings

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore dismissed Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid from his ministry.

Chaudhry Rashid was previously the Minister for Power Development Organization and Planning and Development.

Rashid had met with PML-N leaders, hinting at a potential party switch.

He initially joined PTI through Tanveer Ilyas in the no-confidence motion against Abdul Qayaum Niazi.

After being disqualified by court, Rashid was part of the PTI Forward Bloc.

Eventually, he joined the PPP and held the Ministry under Rathore’s leadership.
