Bunnie Xo’s memoir is set to become a cinematic sensation. The wife of country music star Jelly Roll recently unveiled her compelling new work, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, after its recent release. Alisa DeFord, as she’s known by many fans, expressed profound gratitude for the journey that led to this milestone in her life.

Alisa shared her emotions with Variety, saying, “Writing this book was one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever done. I told my story the only way I knew how: raw, real and unapologetic.”

She elaborated, “Seeing it now move from the pages to the big screen is something I never could have imagined.” Her enthusiasm was palpable as she continued, “I can’t wait for audiences to experience the chaos, the heartbreak, the humor and the redemption in a way that only film can capture.”

Alisa’s vision extends beyond mere entertainment. She shared her hopes, saying, “If this film does anything, I hope it reminds people that your past, nor your trauma, can ever define you, your comeback does. It’s never too late.”

Her statement underscored the importance of resilience and redemption in storytelling. The rights for the movie adaptation were recently acquired by 101 Studios, which is behind the successful television series ‘Yellowstone.’

With this acquisition, Bunnie Xo’s memoir becomes more than a personal narrative; it represents an opportunity to inspire audiences through cinema.
