More than 550 Pakistanis have rejoined their homeland following tensions fueled by the joint United States-Israeli assault on Iran. As the situation escalated, at least 940 citizens crossed through the Taftan border in the past two days to return home. Among them were a notable group of 506 students and 50 pilgrims who successfully navigated this crucial gateway.

Additionally, another 136 Pakistanis, including 25 students, have also returned via the Gabd Rimdan crossing, increasing the total number of arrivals to 456. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials greeted these returnees and managed their immigration formalities upon arrival.

Sources close to the situation suggest that an atmosphere of fear has settled in Iran since the attack, and many Iranians have taken this opportunity to seek safety abroad. The Pakistani government’s diplomatic support played a pivotal role in ensuring these citizens’ safe passage home.
