Australian PM backs US on Iran Nuclear Threat

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has echoed US support for military action against Iran to prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons. Speaking in a statement on Saturday evening, he declared that the Iranian regime had been a “destabilizing force” across decades through its ballistic missile programs, nuclear ambitions, and backing of armed proxies.

However, the Foreign Affairs Department warned of potential retaliation attacks and further escalation in the region following any assault. Albanese stood with Iran’s people, stating they are fighting against oppression.
