On Friday, a heated clash erupted at the Karachi City Council meeting when Jamaat-e-Islami members raised slogans of “Give water to Karachi” and “Give rights to Karachi,” according to sources. These protests came in response to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Najmi Alam’s speech.

In retaliation, PPP members chanted “Jeay Bhutto.” The situation escalated as Jamaat-e-Islami and PPP members engaged in a physical altercation, with punches being thrown, reported by sources.

Wahab further exposed what he called the hypocrisy of the opposition during Najmi Alam’s speech when they reacted negatively.
