Ayesha Zafar Highlights South Africa Tour in Exclusive PCB Podcast Episode

The 71st edition of the PCB Podcast has been released and is available for free download and editorial use. In this latest episode, Pakistan Women’s Team batter Ayesha Zafar provided insights into her career highlights, including her recent recall to both squads for an upcoming South Africa tour.

Ayesha made her World Cricket Development Index (WODI) and Women’s T20 Internationals (WT20I) debuts in October 2015 against West Indies while away. Since then, she has participated in a total of thirty-two One Day Internationals (ODIs) and twenty-six Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Her recent recall to both the Pakistan squads for the South Africa tour underscores her continued importance to the team.

Ayesha’s most recent appearances for Pakistan were during the England tour in May 2024, where she played her last games in both ODIs and T20s. In the podcast episode, Ayesha shared her experiences spanning a 11-year career so far, as well as how she manages to handle the pressure associated with playing for Pakistan.
