Luqman’s accusations reportedly included allegations of match-fixing, which prompted Azam to seek legal redress. The notice warns that if Luqman does not issue an apology, further legal action will be pursued.

In related news, Pakistan’s assistant coach Azhar Mahmood has also addressed the surge of accusations on social media following the national team’s performance in the ICC T20 World Cup. Mahmood expressed his concern on X (formerly Twitter) about the harassment faced by him and his family. He emphasized his right to take legal action against those spreading baseless claims without evidence.
