Biometric Verification Mandatory at Airport for International Travelers

The Pakistani government has announced plans to implement biometric systems across all airports to tighten border security. The Ministry of Interior has mandated biometric verification for all international travelers, aiming to stop wanted individuals from moving within or beyond Pakistan.

A Ministry of Interior statement confirmed that biometric devices will be installed at immigration counters in all airports handling international flights. This step aims to improve passenger screening processes, aligning Pakistan’s security measures with global standards.
