Pakistan’s Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) will now include unmarried women aged above 35. This change was discussed during a parliamentary committee meeting on Tuesday. BISP officials confirmed efforts are underway to expand the programme’s eligibility framework to include these women, aiming to provide social protection coverage for those lacking independent income or family support systems.
