Board of Governors approves Federal Judicial Academy Rules 2026 and upgrades

In a significant move aimed at upholding Pakistan’s judicial system, the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) Board of Governors has approved new rules and announced infrastructure improvements. The 44th meeting was presided over by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, who emphasized the importance of judicial training in foreign arbitration practices.

The FJA Board welcomed approval for its draft of the Federal Judicial Academy Rules 2026 at the recent gathering. Participants included the Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Attorney General, and High Court Chief Justices across the country. During the session, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi highlighted the academy’s contributions to judicial education and professional development.

During his presentation, FJA Director General Gul Hasan Aurangzeb underscored the importance of promoting judicial excellence through ongoing efforts.
