A team from Transport Canada is set to arrive in Karachi on Sunday for an in-depth security review of Pakistan’s international airports.
Beginning Monday, the delegation will inspect key areas at the Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore airports. Their focus will be on ensuring the safety of direct flights from Pakistan to Canada.
The audit will examine crucial sectors such as security protocols, baggage screening, and cargo and catering security. Additionally, the team will evaluate access control measures and aircraft security procedures.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is preparing to brief the Canadian delegation on the current security measures and protocols implemented at the airports.
