Pak Arab Fertilizers Limited applied for pre-merger clearance under Section 11 of the Act to acquire Pakistan Oxygen Limited’s LCO2 plant via an Asset Purchase Agreement dated February 4, 2026.

The CCP assessed the transaction’s impact on market structure, competition dynamics, and market concentration. The Commission concluded that the acquisition would not significantly alter competitive conditions or create barriers to entry for other participants in the relevant market.

The decision upholds the CCP’s commitment to facilitating legitimate business transactions while ensuring competition, market efficiency, and consumer welfare are protected.
