Charli XCX heaped praise on Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters’ frontman, for his unique take on the viral Apple dance. The clip, featuring Grohl and his daughter Harper, quickly went viral last year when it appeared on TikTok. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in February, Charli commented, “You’re taking like an abstract approach. And that’s cool.”

Grohl admitted he wasn’t used to choreography but recorded the video at his daughter’s insistence. This dance became a staple of Charli’s Brat tour, with multiple guest performers filling in for various shows, including Glastonbury’s Other Stage.

On The Graham Norton Show, Grohl and the Foo Fighters performed their new single “Your Favorite Toy,” from their upcoming 12th studio album slated for April 24. Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters joined them on backing vocals. Grohl hinted at potential UK tour dates following two announced Anfield Stadium shows in June.

Meanwhile, Charli was also promoting her film The Moment, a mockumentary inspired by her Brat tour. She also celebrated the UK chart success of her soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights, which reached Number One and became her third UK No. 1 album.
